Goooood morning y'all

You know, I get the feeling I had something to tell everyone... but I forgot what it was. So, let's have another cat story instead!

So I live in the countryside, and it's just teeming with a lot of wonderful chances for photography. Of course, I prefer more up close shooting of the small things in life. That requires me to be kneeling on the ground. We have 5 outdoor cats. Two of them love to help me with my photography whether I'd like them to or not. So, I'm kneeling there in the tall weeds, adjusting my camera lens, and a large weight just drops onto my shoulders right by my head. I look on my back, and all I see is a furry butt right by my face. My cat, Pig, decided I looked like a very comfortable seat, and on the ground right beside me, her mom, Possum, was thinking the same thing and was about to jump onto my shoulders as well. But this is all fine and dandy with me because they just sit up there, thinking that they're queens or that they're helping to hold me down for my shot. It's when they miss the jump when I'm not happy with it. A few weeks ago, I was leaning over and petting our dog. Pig decided to try and jump onto my back. A few of you can probably see where this is going. She jumped... and didn't jump high enough. So, I ended up with a claw stuck in bare skin and a cat hanging onto my leg. I was not a happy camper lmao So, I just unhooked Pig from my leg, gave her a big hug, and plopped her back onto the ground.
